Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our shop online and add any bouquets or gifts that you wish to buy to your shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on the ‘Checkout’ button and you will be asked for a few details that we need to complete the order.
We accept debit and credit card payments including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, Clearpay & Klarna. If you are shopping from outside the UK, your card provider will convert the transaction into your local currency.
You may also place and pay for orders over the telephone by calling us.
Orders cancelled online or by phone are subject to a cancellation fee.
When confirmation of your order is received, this indicates that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. A contract is formed once payment has been processed. This protects us in the event of a pricing error, where goods may have been listed incorrectly, or if we are unable to supply a product. If a price changes, we will always contact you to confirm whether the revised price is acceptable.
Delivery Schedule Orders received before 3pm Monday to Saturday will be delivered the same day if required. Orders received after this time, or international orders, are usually delivered the following day. Orders placed with a specified delivery date will be delivered on that date (must be placed before the same-day cut-off time). Orders placed for delivery on a public holiday will be delivered the next working day. Online deliveries are UK only. For international orders, please telephone us.
No timed deliveries are available except for funeral tributes and weddings.

If you require specific flowers, please contact us at least 24 hours before delivery is required.
Delivery Attempts Orders are delivered once. If the recipient is not at home, the flowers or plant will be returned to the shop and a missed-delivery card will be left. If a neighbour is available, we may leave the delivery with them if they are willing to accept responsibility. If the recipient is unable to collect from the shop, a new delivery date will be arranged at Coates Florist’s earliest convenience. Coates Florist is not responsible for theft or damage if items are left by request. We take great care with all our flowers to ensure freshness and quality.
Tax Charges All orders include 20% VAT.
Credit Card Security When your order is placed online, your card details are encrypted using 256-bit encryption. They are only decrypted once they reach our secure system and are never stored in plain text.

Refunds may occasionally be given at the discretion of the management. Due to the perishable nature of flowers, any complaint should be made within 1 working day of delivery. We always aim to agree a suitable resolution such as a replacement or refund depending on the circumstances.
